About Atlantic Rose

Atlantic Rose

This is the homepage of the gaff schooner ATLANTIC ROSE.

In August 2020, the ship was taken over by the current owner and brought to Hamburg, Germany with a crew of five old sea dogs and sailing novices from Portugal, where it had been standing on the hard for the previous five years.
During the winter season, it stayed in the picturesque setting of the Glückstadt city harbor, where it was freed from the traces of its 1,800 nautical mile voyage around Western Europe and prepared for the next sailing season on the Baltic Sea with berth in Boltenhagen.
Back in Glückstadt, numerous adjustments were made over the wintertime with the experience of the past season, for example, the complete electrical system was revised and the navigation electronics were brought up to date.

In August, our long-planned voyage finally got underway: back to Portugal, to the Canary Islands, and after Christmas 2022 across the Atlantic to the Caribbean!

The adventures of our voyages and the opportunities to sail with us, you will find on the following pages!
